Christmas has come to Rosefont Hill and it’s destined to be a particularly special festive season for Sophie May.
When a smitten stranger emails Sophie to ask her if he can propose to the woman he loves in her little teashop, the romantic in her finds it impossible to refuse. Even though Christmas is her busiest time of year she has her own sweetheart, Hollywood actor Billy Buskin, to lend a helping hand. How could she say no to making someone’s dream come true?
As Sophie and Billy work together to plan the perfect fairytale proposal for this couple, excitement in Rosefont Hill is mounting. Who is this mysterious man? And who is the lucky lady he’s about to get down on one knee for?
This is the short story sequel to Billy And Me which opens with a rather wonderful description of how the narrator, Sophie enjoys Christmas and in particular, snow.
“I love the arrival of a new season – each one bringing with it, its own emotion.”
The update on how the characters have been was so lovely and heartwarming. When Sophie receives an exciting email, the narrative went up another notch. Her relationship with actor Billy is very sweet and I just loved them together. They truly brought out the best in one another.
I was quite surprised by the ending… You’ve probably read the blurb and thought “I know what’s going to happen” and I thought so did I, but believe me, it’s not what you expect. The narrative is utterly sweet and I absolutely loved the overall outcome. It was wonderful to revisit Sophie and Billy – two old friends.
