The Sunday Post #52

Welcome to the final blog post of 2017.

I’m going to start it with some amazing news…

After 3 months of unemployment, I have a job to enter the New Year with and I really can’t wait. I had the interview at 11am on Thursday, met the director and at midday when I was back in the car with my Mum, I received a phone call offering me the role.

How incredible is that?

I’m going to be a Marketing Assistant, which is a role that I really enjoy and I can’t wait to get stuck in and get into the flow of the company.

Ready For Christmas

I’m happy to say: we’re 100% ready for tomorrow.

The presents are all wrapped and under the tree. The house has been tidied from top to bottom. The cards have been handed out. The fridge is completely stocked up.

I’m ready to unwind, chill out, eat all the food, hand out presents and enjoy the day.

Weekend Plans

Last Saturday was focused mainly on two things: going to Aintree Shopping Park to work on a collaboration with the retail park and order Chinese food with Mike. We successfully managed both and had a really lovely day.

If you’d like to read about what I bought, head to Friday’s post!

On Sunday, we spent the morning being v. lazy in bed before heading to the pub in order to watch both the United and the Liverpool games. I love days like that as I can watch my game and then read my book while the Mr watches Liverpool.

Yesterday, something fun happened: I had my hair cut. I usually have my hair done twice a year, but I decided to book myself in right before Christmas and well, I’m pretty pleased with the results. I had a little bit chopped off but perhaps I’ll show you properly in a blog post next year..

A Blogging Day In Liverpool

On Tuesday, I spent the day in Liverpool with Megan.

I’ve spoke about Meg many of times on my blog, but I seriously can’t cope with how funny she is! We had a lovely breakfast at The Quarter, taking outfit photos, laughing until we cry and warming up with a Costa.

I’ve got a few blog posts coming in January with the photos that Meg kindly took of me and I’m in LOVE with them!

The Script

You may know that The Script are my favourite band of all year.

Imagine how I felt when they retweeted me TWICE on Tuesday evening and then on Wednesday afternoon, I had an Instagram DM from them. Safe to say, neither my Twitter notifications or myself have calmed down.

See you in 2018!

As this is my final blog post of the year, I just wanted to say thank you very much for all the support and for always leaving such lovely comments.

I’ll be back on Sunday 7th with a few posts for you all to enjoy! If you’d like to see anything in 2018, feel free to let me know and I’ll try my best to accommodate.

I’m not 100% sure how my schedule will work next year, I plan of getting as many posts written + scheduled as I possibly can before starting my new job.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!Β

Lots of love,
Emma Louise xx
