You will never guess where I bought my new black bag from.
I have spent months searching in New Look, River Island, M&S, Next, Debenhams and Topshop to find a particular handbag.
Had I seen it before? Nope.
Did I have an ideal of what I was looking for? Sort of.
But when I spotted it in the window of a certain shoe shop, I knew it was exactly what I had been looking for, so naturally, I purchased it.
Is it annoying that I haven’t said which shop the bag is from, yet?
I bought a handbag from a shoe shop and I flipping love it.
About two weeks ago, the Mr and I were at Cheshire Oaks trying out the new Café Rouge croques and upon window shopping, I spotted the bag and I just knew it was the one I’d spent months searching for.
I think I’ve had the bag about three weeks and it has been used for everything: work, a trip to Sefton Park with Megan (she did a fab job with the photos, didn’t she?)
With me purchasing the bag from the Cheshire Oaks shop, it means that it was a little bit cheaper than it normally would be and it’s not on the website as it’s an outlet.
But that didn’t stop me from purchasing the bag.
On the outside of the bag, it’s completely black in colouring with gold detailing for the zips and hooks. Then we have three compartments – two on the outer side which is perfect to store sanity wear, headphones, Vaseline and a little first aid kit.
The biggest compartment is in the middle which has a cute flower lining, two pockets (this is where I keep my keys and fob for the office). I can’t even tell you how much space the inside has – it is amazing. I have a book, my glasses case, my purse and my makeup bag in there. No doubt, an umbrella will have to be placed in there at some point in the year, but for now, it’s got quite a lot of space left over.
All in all, it’s the perfect sized handbag and I’m quite certain that it was around the £24-26 area and I’m already getting a lot of use out of it.
