Since July, I’ve been on a accidental healthy mission.
I found myself a personal trainer, I work out at least two times a week, I give my body the correct ingredients and I found that cutting out the bad food wasn’t as horrific as I actually thought it was going to be.
I knew that I would miss crisps more than any other food and so, I’ve spent a fair bit of time in the supermarkets trying to find that healthy alternative and eventually, I did.
Not only am I pleased to have discovered Hippeas but I am also honoured to be collaborating with them on this post.
Hippeas are exactly what I’ve been looking for.
The organic chickpea puffs are organic, gluten free, vegan, baked instead of fried, packed with fibre, low in calories, dairy free, high in fibre as well as a source of protein.
I am not gluten free or vegan or dairy free for that matter.
I’m not exactly a fussy eater (the boyfriend would say otherwise), but when it comes to crisps – I just know what I want.
These Hippeas are light, delicious, a little bit like a wotsit in texture and they come in a variety of flavours which will satisfy several members of the family. My personal favourite are the Salt & Vinegar Vibes – I’m ever so slightly obsessed.
The best thing about Hippeas is that the packets are quite cheap (£2 in most supermarkets) and the sharing bags really do make a great snack for any occasion.
Whether you’re watching the football with your Dad on the sofa, having some down time while watching Netflix, trying to feed your nephews a healthier option, a road trip or you’re having a trip to the cinema with the other half / friends – these Hippeas are absolutely fantastic for any occasion and any time of the day!
Their products can be found in a variety of supermarkets – ASDA, Tesco, Waitrose, Whole Foods, Superdrug, Boots, WHSmith and many more.
Fair warning: It is very easy to eat an entire share bag by yourself, without actually sharing. Speaking from my own personal experience…
Disclaimer: The lovely Hippeas team kindly sent me some vouchers for their share bags in return for a blog post. All opinions are my own and I have a wonderful working relationship with the company.
