TV Shows I’ve Been Watching Recently – Take Six

I thought it was about time that I updated you all in terms of what TV shows I’ve been watching recently as believe it or not, these blog posts are fairly popular.

With Love Island taking up 100% of my nightly TV watching, I’ve been dipping in and out of Netflix and the Amazon Fire Stick as and when I can recently.

TV Shows (01)

Line Of Duty (Seasons 1-5)

My parents absolutely love this show. Everyone on Twitter loves this show. I, on the other hand, can now say that I also love the show and I seriously can not wait for the next season and it is beyond gripping.

Each season focuses on a “bent police officer” within the force – some who you expect and some that will completely shock you. Each season is cleverly written, always leading up to the big finale and I honestly believe that seasons one and five are my favourites.

Season 1-4 are available on Netflix, but then you need to hop over to BBC iPlayer for the next set of episodes.

TV Shows (02)

Stranger Things (Season 3)

Holy smokes. This was by far, the best season by a long shot.

When it was released, I was a little bit poorly on the weekend and so, I took the Saturday off to just completely relax in bed. Kinda proud to say that I managed to watch the entire season within the day.

I loved the fact that we actually saw the monster properly for the first time. I mean, it’s a monster so it isn’t going to be a particularly pretty sight but it made the season just so much better and more gripping to watch.

I’m 99% certain that I’m the only person in the world who didn’t cry at the end..

TV Shows (03)

Dead To Me (Season 1)

I really, really wish I’d enjoyed this show more.

The plotline sounded fantastic, but it just played out to be quite flat without any real serious drama. In my opinion, it lacked the wow factor, the desperation to continue watching the next episode and even though I stuck with the show, I just didn’t fully love it as much as I’d hoped.

There will be another season coming to Netflix – will I watch it? I’m not sure…
