Nothing has felt right since Elle rented out her house… I’M IN YOUR HOUSE. There’s a new coldness. A shift in the atmosphere. The prickling feeling that someone is watching her every move from the shadows. I’M IN YOUR HEAD. Maybe it’s all in Elle’s mind? She’s a writer – her imagination, after all, is her strength. And yet every threat seems personal. As if someone has discovered the secrets that keep her awake at night. AND NOW I KNOW YOUR SECRET. As fear and paranoia close in, Elle’s own home becomes a prison. Someone is unlocking her past – and she’s given them the key…

When I was younger, I had no issues in making friends.
During my primary school days, you were friends with the entire class and you wouldn’t even think about not inviting someone to your birthday party.
In high school, you try to remain within your group of primary school friends but due to your separate classes, you spend less time with each other and more time with people who you begin to call friends.
What happens when you go to a completely different college with only one friend and they leave two weeks in? You’re forced to make new friends, the ones who you share classes with and you quickly become friends with their friends.
But then University happens and they say you make your friends for life there, but what happens when you only speak to one of them almost ten years on?
None of this bothers me. I have three friends in my life and I’m happy about that.

It began with four words: ‘I love your laugh. x’ But that was twelve years ago. It really began the day Georgina was fired from The Worst Restaurant in Sheffield (© TripAdvisor) and found The Worst Boyfriend in the World (© Georgina’s best friends) in bed with someone else. So when her new boss, Lucas McCarthy, turns out to be the boy who wrote those words to her all that time ago, it feels like the start of something. The only problem? He doesn’t seem to remember Georgina – at all…

My makeup collection has never been big.
I’ve always kept it quite minimal; constantly repurchasing my favourites and never really trying out any other brands. Even when I try to do my makeup a little bit different, it always ends up looking the exact same.
But when the Mr and I were in Prague at the end of March, I somehow accidentally fell into Sephora twice. When you’ve got a lot of foreign money left over before you fly home, it’d be rude not to treat yourself, right?

If you’ve been reading my blog for some time, you will know that I read a lot of books.
I have never set myself a challenge of how many books I can read in a year, but for some reason, I’ve decided to aim for 50.
So how am I getting on?

All Anna wants is to be able to sleep. But crushing insomnia, terrifying night terrors and memories of that terrible night are making it impossible. If only she didn’t feel so guilty. Pastries are the perfect way to start your day.
I can remember being in Paris at the age of eight, being fascinated by the pastries in the shop window and wondering what they tasted like.
Fast forward twenty years and you can get great pastries from pretty much anywhere in your local town or city, but will they ever be as good as the real ones from France?
I was very kindly gifted a generous box of pastries from St. Pierre and even though I’m currently on a healthy eating bandwagon, I have sampled them for the purpose of my blog. That’s a good enough excuse, right?

I’ve been very open about my accidental journey to losing weight.
It began in June 2018 during our holiday to Crete in which I was asked four times by members of the hotel spa if I would like a pregnancy massage.
I’ve never been pregnant and as you can imagine, I was taken back by the remark of what four different women asked me and before you say it, it has nothing to do with a language barrier as they were all speaking perfect English.
It was the straw that broke the camels back.
So I decided to do something about how I felt about my body.

Prague is a truly beautiful place to visit.
We spent around 65 hours, exploring our way through the beautiful streets, soaking up the sights (and the sun!) as well as eating the most delicious food.
Just like my guide to Amsterdam, I wanted to share a number of things that you can do during your first visit to Prague – simply as a guide and 10 of them are 100% free!
