Autumn is officially here.
Therefore, it’s perfectly acceptable to light all the Autumnal candles.
I dragged the Mr to the mothership that is HomeSense in Aintree a few weeks ago as I was trying to hunt down the perfect Autumn candle and I think I’ve found it.
I’m not a big fan of cinnamon, apple or pumpkin scents at all.
I’m much more of a citrus fruit kinda gal.

I love cute homeware items.
Every time I walk into Primark, New Look, H&M, Debenhams, ASDA, Tesco (and many, many more), I need to go and look at the homeware.
Just in case I want to pick anything up.
Because you know, homeware is cute and it’s essential.

This weekend, I felt the urge to bake.
I can’t remember the last time I made a cake or a batch of cookies.
These ones are unbelievably good so naturally, I wanted to share with you all.

“Homeware is my weakness.”
Said by every blogger on the planet.
We can’t help it. We can’t help buying it. They make great props.
Especially when the products are long lasting, like the ones from Feather & Black.
When their lovely PR team got in touch and asked if I’d like to review some of their pieces, I took a look on their website and was instantly in love with pretty much every single item.
And then they said I could choose what I wanted.
Is this real life? Is this a fantasy?
10 points to Gryffindor if you can name that song.

Stags are one of my favourite animals.
My blog name kinda gives that away.
I’ve wanted a piece of artwork in my bedroom for quite some time, but I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted so when I spotted a Daisy Maison stall at a home show in Manchester towards the end of last year, I knew I’d found the perfect piece.

Spring is around the corner.
I can already feel it in the air.
The mornings + evenings are lighter, the daffodils are popping up everywhere and we can finally get to work on the garden.
Over the Winter, the garden has been neglected simply because it’s too cold to do anything and due to the frost (thankfully we didn’t get any snow), no flowers were able to bloom.
I’ve got a few simple steps on how you can spruce up your garden this Spring…
Books are my thing.
I’m sure you all know that.
At the beginning of the month, I had a huge clean of my room – gave a few clothing items to charity, threw a bunch of old lipsticks out (that’s never an easy task) and most of all, I sorted my books out.
I’m a bookworm without a bookcase. Continue reading “Bedside Table Reads”
If I asked you what ‘me time’ meant, what would you say?
In my opinion, it’s doing something which makes you content.
When the team at Help Me Organics got in touch at the beginning of the month and asked if I’d like to review one of their candles, I said yes.
I mean, I do have a draw in my bedside table dedicated to candles..

The one thing I love about my bedroom is that it always smells lovely.

The second Autumn hits, candles and fairy lights become the best part of the evening. We all love being cosy, we’re all very Hygge..
Every Christmas, I burn the same Yankee Candle and it is truly delicious. I desperately need to purchase a large jar early next year as it sells out SO quickly. Note to self: get one in January.
Yup, it’s Christmas Cookie aka. the best candle to burn in December. In terms of the scent, it’s rich, buttery and basically smells of sugar cookies. The best thing about the candle is that once you blow it out, the scent is still very strong and covers all of the room for a good hour.
Which is your favourite Christmas candle?
