10 Instagram Locations In Bath

Instagram locations are forever being hunted down by bloggers, photographers and people who are a little bit snap happy.

With that being said, we had 26 hours in Bath recently and I wanted to visit as many picturesque spots as I possibly could. With the aid of Visit Bath and #igersbath, I saved quite a few photos (50+) into a collection on Instagram and noted down any street names within my notepad. This way, we got to see the beautiful sights whilst taking all the photos.

We did have a press pass kindly gifted to us from Visit Bath in which we used for Bath Abbey and The Roman Baths, so please know that when you see those photos, we were there in collaboration and that blog posts will be coming up for those spots very soon.

A Day Trip To Spinalonga

I love a good boat trip, I really do.

On our third day in Crete, we took a boat trip to Spinalonga (also known as Leper Island) which cost 35 Euros per person for the full day including lunch and it certainly didn’t disappoint as we both had a lovely, relaxing day.

We found it very easy to book the trip with Altino Travel Services as there was plenty of places dotted around the area of Gouves and our pick up spot was quite literally down the road from our hotel.

Where We Stayed In Crete

Oh how I have missed writing travel content.

I absolutely love reading about where people have stayed on holiday as it is the perfect inspiration for your next trip.

So with that in mind, I really wanted to produce something different, a piece of travel content which I’ve never actually done before – a hotel review.

We booked our trip to Crete in March, not knowing anything about the area and so, I actually left it up to the Mr to find somewhere that we would both enjoy and be able to relax. Oh boy, he came through. Hello little Instagram worthy hotel, nice to see you.

24 Hours In Harrogate

We have had our trip to Harrogate on the cards since early January.

Seeing as the journey was less than two hours in the car and the Travelodge was under £40, we knew that a little trip away would be perfect.

For a few weeks, I’ve been feeling out of the blogosphere (more on that to come in a separate post), but the 24 hours in Harrogate was the perfect chance to be away from social media and enjoy my surroundings.

The trip consisted of delicious food, a lot of laughter, a lack of photos and many wonderful memories made.

Corfu Travel Diary: Day Three

Day Three: Wednesday 13th September

Our time in Corfu was quickly coming to an end; we spent day one being lazy round the town while day two was spent in the Old Town.

But for our third and final day, we had a plan set in motion.

For $30, we hopped on a boat which took us to the Blue Lagoon, two swimming places and a little fishing village. Lunch was also included and the day ran from 8am until 7:30pm. We definitely got our money worth.

We woke up at 6:50am to yet another beautiful sunrise before making our way down to the bus stop to be picked up at 8am in order to be taken to the dock in Corfu Old Town.

Corfu Travel Diary: Day One

Oh, Corfu, I think I’ve fallen in love with you.

*that accidentally rhymes*

The Mr and I booked our trip to the gorgeous Greek Island at the beginning of July and ever since, I was looking forward to it.

Greece has always been on my to-see list and I’m so glad that we started with Corfu.

We stayed in Brentanos Apartments in Kaiser Bridge, Perama, Gastouri (25-30 minutes away from the Old Town via bus) which was a lovely and peaceful place.

Kinda forgot to take photos of the interior so that’s my apartment review out of the window.

There are a few things I will say in advance about the apartments:

  1. The bed’s are rock hard
  2. You have to walk up quite a steep hill in order to get there
  3. The outside lights don’t turn off
